Arrived during a rainy gale in January. Fed a huge portion of good food by friendly staff. I've been here before on a beautiful summer evening but i prefer being here warm and well fed during a winter storm.
I came to this pub on route to the airport after a wedding with my friends today. This pub is amazing. The staff were absolutely lovely as well. The food came piping hot, the batter was absolutely perfect on the fish and chips. I wish I could go here regularly. Best pub food I've ever had hands down!
Do not hesitate in coming here. Can't wait to visit Scotland again so I can return!

My husband and I found this place purely by chance and what an absolute gem of a find. The staff were so welcoming and accommodated for our puppy. The food is so fresh and is absolutely amazing. We would definitely recommend.

Opted for the steak pie and didn't regret it, the best steak pie I have ever had. Portion sizes were good, so good there was no room for desert, well, a couple more pints of well-kept beer maybe.
Thursday night is music night. A bit of a jam session from local musician's. They turn up at random times and all join in. Maybe not my normal cup of tea, however, on this occasion, the mix of musician's and the play list was a relaxing addition to a great evening.

What a fabulous find... The Fish and Chips are possibly the best I've ever had in any restaurant.... Old fashioned, comfy, cosy and friendly. Highly recommended. Great views too.

Visited the ship Inn today again, with family, can't praise it highly enough. Food lovely, pâté, haggis bonbons, fish and chips, chicken Balmoral, burger. Staff a joy. As ever can't wait to return. Julie Hugh sneddon.
Cracking wee pub. A good selection 😜 f beers including a local 'craft' beer that isn't like rocket fuel. Comfortable enough seating indoors and seating outdoors by the shore too. …
